Chamaliang

Chammaliang is a shrub or a tree, usually growing from 1.5 – 10 metres tall, but exceptionally to 15 metres. The bole can be 2 – 15cm in diameter.
The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food, medicine and source of wood. It is occasionally cultivated in the garden as an ornamental and food plant in southeast Asia.
